The inter-intra collegiate festival of Ramnarain Ruia College, Aarohan-Utsav, is taking place from the 20th to the 24th of December, 2011. The cast and crew of film Chaalis Chauraasi, that releases on the 13th of January, 2012, went to Ramnarain Ruia College on Thursday for promoting the film at their inter-collegiate festival, Aarohan '11. The celebrity cast, comprising of Kay Kay Menon, Ravi Kishan and Atul Kulkarni; director Hriday Shetty, Producers Anuya Mhaiskar and Sachin Awasthee interacted with the students, and a few lucky students who entered the Aarohan online contest, got to meet the celebrities in person. Piyush Panchal, the choreographer for the film will be judging the inter-team dance which is one of the most awaited events of the festival.

अभिनय में विविधता के लिए मशहूर भोजपुरी फिल्मो के अमिताभ बच्चन कहे जाने वाले अभिनेता रवि किशन का मराठी गाने पर ठुमका लोगों को काफी भा रहा है , विभिन्न न्यूज़ चंनेलो और इंटरनेट पर उनकी आगामी हिंदी फिल्म चालीस चौरासी का एक गाना काफी लोकप्रिय हो रहा है , गाने के बोल हैं सेटिंग झाला . इस गाने में उनका साथ दे रहे हैं अभिनेता नसीरुद्दीन शाह , के.के.मेनन और अतुल कुलकर्णी , निर्देशक ह्रदय शेट्टी की इस फिल्म में चारो मुख्य अभिनेता पुलिस अधिकारी की भूमिका में हैं . गाने की शूटिंग मनोरी के खुबसूरत समुद्र किनारे एक सेट लगा कर की गयी है . रवि किशन के अनुसार इस गाने को एक बार का शक्ल देकर फिल्माया गया था . खुबसूरत बार बालाओं के बीच जब इस गाने को फिल्माया जा रहा था तभी ही इसकी सफलता का आभाष पूरी यूनिट को हो गया था. फिलहाल इस फिल्म का प्रोमोशन तेज गति से चल रहा है . रवि किशन अपने सहयोगी कलाकारों के साथ गुरूवार को मुंबई के रुइया कोलेज गए जहाँ छात्रों ने कलाकारों का काफी उत्साह बढ़ाया. रवि किशन के अनुसार चालीस चौरासी में उनकी भूमिका काफी दमदार है , निर्देशक ह्रदय शेट्टी ने उनकी भूमिका को काफी संवारा है . बहरहाल रवि किशन के चहेतों को इस गाने का परदे पर दीदार १३ जनवरी से हो रहा है.

Shah Rukh praises Amitabh as the original Don

Patna: The `Baadshah` of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan today described megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the "cent per cent original Don", adding that Don 2 was inspired by the 1978 film starring Big B.
"Amit ji is cent per cent Don and I have full respect for him," SRK told reporters on his maiden visit to Patna to promote his film, `Don 2`, set for a release world-wide tomorrow.
Flanked by co-star Priyanka Chopra and film director Farhan Akhtar, the 46-year-old actor said, "We have been inspired by Amitabh Bachchan`s `Don` and filmed `Don 2 - The King Is Back` to get accepted by the new generation."
The other characters are played by Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Aly Khan and Om Puri.
The movie is a sequel to 2006 film `Don`, which was a remake of the Bachchan blockbuster with the same name.
In the movie, Shah Rukh plays the evil character of Don, who has his sight set on dominating the powerful European underworld after conquering Asia.

Shahrukh Khan in Patna for DON 2

The earlier gig to promote Don 2 in Patna was cancelled at the last minute because of ‘communication gap’ and ‘misunderstanding’ between the organizers and the administration of Bihar. Shahrukh Khan had expressed his regret and said that he had even honed up his ‘Bihari accent’ for the visit.
But more than SRK’s regret, the fans of the superstar were furious and even vented their anger through stone pelting.
On Thursday, Shahrukh Khan is keeping the promise he made to Patna with a visit to the city. This time, a proper bandobast is done and the organizers have taken the requisite permission from the state administration.
Director Farhan Akhtar, who is accompanying Shahrukh on the visit, tweeted before leaving for the city: “We're off to Patna in the morning.. So good night all.. Will catch up on all your feedback tmrw, so keep it coming.. Peace out”

Well-known poet-writer Shailendra pass away

Well-known poet-writer Kumar Shailendra, (father of Richa Shailendra,
PR of Times Music,) expired after massive heart stoke, on the night of 21st Dec. at his Andheri residence in Mumbai. He was 70 years old and survived by his wife, a son and four daughters. Shailendraji, worked with All India Radio for 25 years as Program Executive. He wrote many popularJjingles,Bhajans and serials and he had also written around 50 episodes of one of the most popular serial Hum Log. He had also written many books and his book " Dhoop Ki Kachahari ''had won acclaims.

Rakhi Sawant compares Veena Malik to Saddam and Gaddafi

Rakhi Sawant hit out at Pakistani actress Veena Malik, slamming her ‘disappearance’ and comparing her to fallen dictators Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gaddafi.Malik was thoroughly criticized in her home country recently, and reportedly even received death threats, after she appeared on the cover of the Indian FHM magazine ostensibly nude, with an ISI tattoo on her arm. Fears grew for her safety after she was reported missing by her manager on Saturday, but she was later found resting in a hotel.
Following the drama, Rakhi Sawant ranted against her, apart from comparing her to various dictators.“Saddam Hussein was found hiding in a little bunker in Iraq by American troops,” the Mirror quoted Sawant as saying in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar.“Osama Bin Laden was found hiding in a house compound in Pakistan by American forces. Muammar Gaddafi was captured by rebel militia while hiding in a drain underneath a road in Libya.“And Pakistani starlet Veena Malik was found by the Indian media hiding in a suburban hotel in Mumbai,”

मुंबई। इस साल नियमित अंतराल पर कला और मनोरंजन जगत की कई मशहूर हस्तियों जैसे देवानंद, शम्मी कपूर, जगजीत सिंह और भूपेन हजारिका ने दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया। इस साल की शुरूआत में प्रतिष्ठित गायक पंडित भीमसेन जोशी का निधन हुआ जिसके बाद अमरचित्र कॉमिक के अनंत पई और शीर्ष चित्रकार एमएफ हुसैन का निधन नौ जून को हो गया। शास्त्रीय संगीतज्ञ सुल्तान खान, मणि कौल, निर्माता सुरेन्द्र कपूर और हिन्दी के वरिष्ठ लेखक श्रीलाल शुक्ल का निधन हो गया।
सिनेमा के पोस्टरों से पेंटिंग की शुरूआत करने वाले हुसैन को सिनेमा के साथ उनके लंबे रोमांस के कारण याद किया जाएगा। यहां तक कि वह फिल्म निर्माता बन गए और दो फिल्में गज गामिनी और मीनाक्षी-ए टेल ऑफ टू सिटी भी बनाई। इन फिल्मों में उन्होंने क्रमश: माधुरी और तब्बू को लिया था। हिंदू देवी-देवताओं के नग्न चित्र बनाने के कारण उग्रपंथी उनसे खफा हो गए जिसके बाद हुसैन ने हिन्दुस्तान छोड़ दिया और स्व निर्वासित जीवन जिया। उसकी रोटी, नौकर की कमीज और दुविधा जैसी फिल्मों का निर्माण करने वाले दिग्गज फिल्मकार मणि कौल का भी इस वर्ष लंबी बीमारी के बाद छह जुलाई को निधन हो गया। फिल्मी पर्दे पर ऊर्जावान हीरो की पहचान रखने वाले और बॉलीवुड में पहले स्टार के तौर पर माने जाने वाले 69 वर्षीय अभिनेता शम्मी कपूर का किडनी खराब हो जाने के कारण 14 अगस्त को निधन हो गया। कपूर के बाद हजारों ख्वाहिशें ऐसी, ए कागज की कश्ती और झुकी झुकी सी नजर गाने वाले गजल गायक जगजीत सिंह ने दुनिया छोड़ दी। उनका 10 दिसंबर को मस्तिष्काघात होने के कारण निधन हो गया।
इस साल भारत ने एक और संगीत के दिग्गज को खो दिया। परंपरागत असमी संगीत और गीत के जादू को बिखेरने वाले प्रसिद्ध गायक और संगीतकार भूपेन हजारिका का भी पांच नवंबर को निधन हो गया। वह 71 वर्ष के थे। वह चार महीनों से जीवन रक्षक प्रणाली पर थे। इस संगीतकार को उनके सुमधुर गीतों और धुनों जैसे दिल हू हू करे और गंगा बहती हो क्यों के लिए याद किया जाएगा।
करिश्माई व्यक्तित्व के फिल्म अभिनेता देवानंद का तीन दिसंबर की रात में घर से दूर लंदन में निधन हो गया। वह 88 वर्ष के थे। देवानंद को उनकी फिल्म गाइड, हम दोनो और ज्वेलर्स थीप के लिए याद किया जाएगा।
लम्बी बीमारी के बाद 27 नवंबर को मुंबई में सारंगी वादक और शास्त्रीय संगीत गायक उस्ताद सुल्तान खान का निधन हो गया। पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित 71 वर्षीय खान का संबंध जोधपुर के सारंगी वादक घराने से था।
बवंडर और प्रोवोक्ड जैसी फिल्मों के निर्माता जगमोहन मूंदड़ा का चार सितंबर को निधन हो गया। वह 62 वर्ष के थे। राग दरबारी सहित 25 किताबे लिखने वाले लेखक 85 वर्षीय श्रीलाल शुक्ल का 28 अक्तूबर को निधन हो गया।

‘‘आज के गौतम गोविंदा’’ का मुहूर्त सम्पन्न

इनफिनिटी इंटरटेनमेंट एवं आर.एन.सी. कंबाईन के बैनर तले बनने जा रही भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘आज के गौतम गोविंदा’ का भव्य संगीतमय मुहूर्त पिछले दिनों चार बंगला म्हाडा, अंधेरी (प.), मुंबई के अलका याज्ञनिक के रिकार्डिंग स्टूडियो ए.बी. साउण्ड में गाने की रिकार्डिंग के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ। इस अवसर पर बालीवुड इक्यूपमेंट के बाबू भाई, अजय दीक्षित, पंकज केसरी, रूबी सिंह, धरमेश मिश्रा, दीपक भाटिया, मुरली लालवानी, खुशी, नीरज राज, देव मल्होत्रा, अमृत पाल, बालेश्वर सिंह, अमरीश, शत्रुघ्न, समर्थ चतुर्वेदी, पब्लिसिटी डिजाईनर नरसू व अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे। इस फिल्म के निर्माता प्रतिमा डी. मिश्रा, नासिर हुसैन एवं दिनेश चोपड़ा, निर्देशक शाद, लेखक मंसूर पटेल व बृज मोहन, गीतकार प्यारेलाल ‘कवि’, संगीतकार पाल कानपुरी, कैमरामैन गौरंग शहा तथा फिल्म के प्रस्तुतकर्ता राज चोपड़ा और शंकर बंसल हैं । फिल्म की कहानी के बारे में निर्देशक शाद ने बताया कि ‘आज के गौतम गोविंदा’ दो युवकों की कहानी है। गौतम का किरदार गौतम बुद्ध के रास्ते पर चलता है और न्याय के पक्ष में रहता है, जबकि गोविंदा का किरदार कृष्ण की तरह नटखट है।

क्लीन इंडिया अभियान को मिला रवि किशन का साथ

भारत सरकार के पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा पर्यटकों को अधिकाधिक सुविधा व क्लीन इंडिया की तस्वीर पेश करने के लिए शुरू किये गए क्लीन इंडिया अभियान को अब भोजपुरी फिल्मो के सदाबहार सुपर स्टार रवि किशन का साथ मिला है. रवि किशन पर्यटन विभाग के साथ मिलकर इस अभियान के प्रति आम लोगो में जागरूकता पैदा करेंगे . मंगलवार को नयी दिल्ली में इस अभियान की रूप रेखा तय की गयी . अभियान का उद्घाटन पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ.ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम द्वारा किया गया . इस अवसर पर पर्यटन मंत्री सुबोध कान्त सहाय, रेल मंत्री दिनेश त्रिवेदी, भाजपा सांसद शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा और दक्षिण के सुपर स्टार चिरंजीव भी मौजूद थे. रवि किशन जहाँ उत्तर भारत ख़ास कर बिहार उत्तरप्रदेश में इस अभियान में अपना योगदान देंगे वहीँ चिरंजीव दक्षिण भारत में . रवि किशन के अनुसार विदेशी पर्यटकों को लुभाने में यह अभियान महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी . बिहार उत्तर प्रदेश में पर्यटन स्थलों की संख्या काफी है जहाँ भारी संख्या में विदेशी आते हैं . इस अभियान से उनकी संख्या में बढ़ोतरी होने की संभावना जताई जा रही है . रवि किशन के इस अभियान से जुड़ने से इस अभियान को गति मिलने की संभावना बढ़ गयी है, क्योंकि वो बिहार उत्तर प्रदेश के यूथ आइकोन माने जाते हैं
