Evergreen Super star of Bhojpuri Ravi Kissen has been honored with Maharashtra Gaurav Puraskar. This award was given to him at a program held in Malad, Mumbai where many famous hindi films and political personalities were present. Ravi Kissen has been honored with this award for his contribution in hindi and bhojpuri films. People like Prem Chopra, Raja Murad, Ganesh Acharya, were also present at this function. Though Ravi Kissen was busy shooting for Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq and was not able to receive the award himself. Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kissen has been the only bhojpuri actor who has done films in other regional languages as well like Marathi, Gujarati films.
